Because we fought, the law now says:
Every streaming platform in India must add captions, sign language, and audio description — on a deadline. Not a favour. A rule, written because our community went to court and won.
The disability rights law already promised accessible services. Our language — ISL, Indian Sign Language — is named in national education policy. The paper is ours now.
The law is ours. The delivery comes next — made by us. That is what a11y is: Deaf and blind creators, paid to make the access, delivered to any screen.
